Solar System Scope (or just Solar) contains many views and celestial simulations, but most of all - it brings you closer to the furthest reaches of our world and lets you experience lots of fantastic space sceneries.

3D Encyclopedia
In Solar’s unique encyclopedia you will find the most interesting facts about every planet, dwarf planet, every major moon and more – and everything is accompanied by realistic 3D visualizations.
Solar’s encyclopedia is available in 19 languages: English, Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Czech, French, German, Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese. More languages are coming soon!
Nightsky Observatory
Enjoy Stars and constellation of the night sky as viewed from any given location on Earth. You can point your device at the sky to see all objects in their proper place, but you can also simulate Night sky in the past or in the future.
Now with advanced options that let you simulate ecliptic, equatorial and azimuthal line, or grid (among other things).
Scientific Instrument
Solar System Scope calculations are based on up-to-date orbital parameters published by NASA and let you simulate celestial positions at any given time.

Unique Maps
We are proud to present a very unique set of planetary and moon maps, that let you experience a true-color space as never before.
These accurate maps are based on NASA elevation and imagery data. Colors and shades of the textures are tuned according to true-color photos made by Messenger, Viking, Cassini and New Horizon spacecrafts, and the Hubble Space Telescope.
Basic resolution of these maps is for free – but if you would like the best experience, you can check out the highest quality, which is available with In-App purchase.

We've added top 100 brightest Satellites into Earth orbit. You can find them by using the SEARCH feature of the app. You can also set SPACECRAFTS to VISIBLE in the app OPTIONS and watch all of them by going to Earth orbit.
We've also added an automatic update system for all displayed spacecrafts so each one of them always has it's most accurate position. Our big thanks goes to CelesTrak - NORAD for sharing their TLE datasets with us.
Also, several translation issues were fixed.
You can now find information about any STAR from all of the 100 000 stars included in our app: use the search feature, choose a star you are looking for - use our stars list, or type in the name of the star into the search window. Then click on the explore button that appears.
You can also find any star via its CATALOGUE ID - current catalogues include Hipparcos Catalogue, Henry Draper Catalogue and Bright Star Catalogue: eg. writing down HD48915 in the full text search input will find Sirius.
Latest update was all about fixing bugs:
- fixed incorrect rotation of the Moon
- fixed missing Moon from schematic view of the Solar System
- fixed several incorrect planet table parameters in planet Explore view
- fixed missing major stars (like star Alnilam from the Orion constellation)
- fixed preloader freeze bug
- fixed search pointer position while zooming in the Nightsky view
- updated orbital parameters of ISS
We've added new Messier Objects Explorer in the view selection where you can find interesting information, facts and a small image for each Messier Object.
Also, Chinese and Korean font error has been repaired.

We have added a manual search of all objects!Now you can quickly find any celestial objects just by writing down a few letters of its name - check it out by clicking on the search icon on the left. Works both in the solar system and the night sky view.
Thanks to the great composer Travis Fitzsimmons, we can now enjoy a custom made song for Solar System Scope called Painting the Solar System! And if the track sounds familiar - it's because it was the very first song that ever played in our app many years ago.Also, we have a new handy menu which allows you to navigate the whole app! Check the first button on left panel in the main view.
We have music! Thanks to a great composer Imphenzia, we have now several songs to accompany you on your space voyage. Also, check out the sci-fi music player with playlist and audio settings accessible via the icon in the top right corner.
We fixed a bug with in-app purchases. The repair took us several hours, but after upgrading to the latest version, everything will now work again. We apologize to everyone for the inconvenience.
